Wait,
if a business has a PhoneWord for their state only, how is it possible
for my business to have the same PhoneWord for another state? How
about if I want more than just one state?
Yes,
you can have a PhoneWord that is in use by another business in another
territory, as long as you´re aware that you will not have
the rights to the PhoneWord servicing the other business´s
designated territory. For instance, if company A has the PhoneWord
1800 TOOLHIRE for the state of VICTORIA, then you, as company B,
can have the PhoneWord 1800 TOOLHIRE for the state of NSW or any
other number of states besides VICTORIA.
How
does a PhoneWord work on my phone line? Do I need to install a
separate land line?
The PhoneWord
is simply linked onto your existing phone lines. You can direct
the PhoneWord to your office, home, mobile phone, call centre
or even your holiday beach house!
Are
13,1300 & 1800 phone numbers expensive to run?
No.
That´s the misconception about service costs. They are relatively
inexpensive. Here are some general guidelines about the cost of
inbound services.
13 &
1300 the caller pays 25 cents. The account holder of the service
pays all tolls.
1800
the account holder of this service pays for the whole cost
of the call. The caller pays nothing.
Some
carriers may charge a nominal set-up fee.
Most
carriers charge a monthly fee, either per account or per toll
free number. The per minute for toll free calls varies between
carriers depending on the plan you choose.
Can
I call out on my toll free line?
No.
Toll free PhoneWords are inbound only.
If
I move or get a new telephone number, do I have to get a new toll
free number or PhoneWord?
No.
Simply contact the carrier that provides your inbound service
and ask to change your "ring to" number. (As the name
implies, the "ring to" number is simply the phone line
that the toll free numbers ring to.)
If
I already have a PhoneWord, can I get another PhoneWord to ring
to the same line?
Yes,
you can have as many PhoneWords as required to ring to one line.
The new PhoneWord can ring to the same line as the existing PhoneWord.
Many businesses can have separate PhoneWords for different aspects
of their marketing and promotions.
Do
I need to notify my local telephone company about the PhoneWord?
No,
our PhoneWords are a separate service that is setup to ring to any
local telephone number that you choose. Your local telephone company
need not be aware of your PhoneWord.
